Advice Assurance Manager
Location: Liverpool
What does this team do?
The Advice Assurance team provide governance, enablement support, quality assurance and technical guidance for the Private Client Advice function (Financial Planning and Wealth Planning).
What are the responsibilities of the role?
• Conducting pre and post advice reviews of new business / advice points and timely review of ongoing business, relating to the Private Client Advice function.
• Providing verbal and written feedback to Planners on a case by case basis, to ensure best client advice outcomes.
• Providing technical and regulatory / procedural support to the Private Client Advice function.
• Assisting the AA team in ongoing record keeping, provision of management information and updates to internal procedures and client facing literature.
• Undertaking and supporting project work.
• Undertaking other tasks as necessary for the efficient running of the department.
What skills and knowledge are we seeking?
• Previous experience writing or reviewing Financial Planning files is essential for the successful candidate (i.e. previous experience in quality assurance, compliance, planning or paraplanning etc)
• A knowledge of FCA legislation and best practice
• Ability to provide constructive and timely feedback to key stakeholders.
• Evidence of a strong team work ethic.
• Evidence of emotional intelligence when providing support and guidance to other individuals.
Any other attributes that would be helpful, but not essential for the role?
Ability to travel on occasion to other area offices to assist the team in the delivery of guidance to stakeholders.
As part of our collaborative and agile culture, our working week is 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.
